My Background
I have a MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Relations in Europe & Eurasia and Security, Strategy, & Statecraft, with a BA from Washington University in St Louis.
I am a specialist in Russian, Caspian, Black Sea, and Transatlantic affairs. I have three years of experience working in DC think tanks focusing on Russian and Eurasian affairs and can speak, read, and write in Russian.
My career has taken me across the world, from conducting research across the Russian Federation to working in Astana to the Munich Security Conference.
My Hobbies
When I'm not at work, I enjoy developing new recipes, perusing book stores, walking the National Mall, exploring DC's museums, catching a classical concert at the Kennedy Center, or hiking in Shenandoah.
